It is typical of Mediterranean ceramics, with a hand painted floral scroll motif and thin striped rim. Hand written "Architectural & Design Surfaces 97", this was most likely produced for a decorators' Showcase in 1997. Portugal is known for its ceramic wares and tiles, this platter is almost deep enough to be a bowl. Measures 12.5" diameter, 1.5" tall less
