This beautiful ceramic bowl is made of white clay. The design on the rim and interior of the bowl is glazed in a gold color. The rim of the bowl is delightful to look at because of its curved undulating and rhythmic forms and designs that are so aesthetically pleasing to behold. Within the bowl is a simple pattern of gold dots and a rose encircled by an oval wreath.
We purchased the bowl about twenty years ago from an antique dealer in Alexandria, Virginia. We have always treasured this special bowl and it was placed on a table at the entrance to our home. However, the bowl could find a treasured spot in any room of a house that has a traditional setting. less
