Vintage; Mid-Century C.1970's, Seminal and Iconic Signed, " Lion in Frost," a Leon Frost design of this iconic Lucite Collection, "Lion in Frost," which is known for, BUT HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER like these, Solid and Thick Tubular Lucite & Brass counter stools, a pair. These counter stools have a mounted seats onto a swivel mechanism, which allows for removal from body, to re-upholstery IF DESIRED OR NEED BE, to each his/her own choosing. The textile is in mint condition, on-smoking or pet environment. Also the swivel mechanism allows one to swivel left to right/side to side, as image showcases. The counter stools are quite solid and heavy, as the tubular Lucite is solid. Etched signed "Lion in Frost,"on backside of Lucite post beam support, near the base where the Brass hardware is located, as image indicates. There IS NO CRAZING WHATSOEVER, as these Counter stools, have been very well protected and preserved, for the period and manufacture. gently used. On the underside there are only a wee small scuff area of a scuff mark, to the front underside of Lucite, as these stools weren't manufactured with any bumpers to the FRONT END, BUT the BACK END UNDERSIDE, of the Lucite has Original, white thick plastic bumpers, imbedded into the Lucite body. original to the design.. Can ALSO be used for a social bar counter area within any domain, as well as a office/work environment, cocktail bar in a Mad Men Style domain, a Talent Agency, HighEnd Restaurant Hostess station, Lobby, etc..Limitless possibilities, a smaller Upscale Apt like NYC/SAan Fransisco, Chicago, etc. either way these are fabulous and sure to invite conversation, beyond their well-built designs form, with function to boot.
