The back and clean modern lines give this sofa a sleek silhouette. Resting over distinctive walnut tapered and fluted legs (five tapered, one back center leg is rounded) the wood frame is sturdy and supportive. Incredibly well built with a solid frame and distinctive early mid-century modern design shows Danish influence, with its original floral upholstery. This rare vintage sofa is a fine example of the early 1970s, with its scooped armrests of the frame creating a wonderful low-slung organic form. This is a time capsule piece with little wear, for its life.
