Spectacular rare item from my own collection. This gorgeous lucite vanity seat was purchased by my mother-in-law around 1974. She was a fashion consultant for Joseph Magnin and had a very stylish ocean-front home in Los Angeles. (She's now 95 and resides in a retirement community.)
The seat is attributed to Karl Springer. It was used on carpet only and is in remarkable vintage condition. Very minimal scratching, no discoloration or crazing. Lucite retains its original luster and shine. This is as near to perfect as you will find in a vintage piece. Original cushion included. Seat is extremely well made and quite heavy (approximately 20 pounds).
