The desk measures approx 40.5" tall x 30" wide x 14.25" deep. Desk is 28" deep when desk top is open. It has the original paint on it from the 1950's.

This desk and chair belonged to my mother and aunt when they were young. They did their homework on it. It was then used as sewing desk for my aunt when she was well into 70's.

The insert is removable.

The desk does show some age as it has been well loved. There are some scratches in the paint on the desk top and on the top edge of the desk. The key hole has been replaced with a knob. Please see photos. less
