Karl Wahl Art Deco female nude riding a massive horse rising out of the waves. Stylized art deco figural forms and theme of the female nude. Early modern sculpture using many form of Gothic linear and Modernist volumes by Karl Wahl signed and dated 1925 with a dark bronze patina. The figure and horse are modeled in a stark angular pose with a strong diagonal direction. Mounted on an angular mahogany base with repair to one corner. The size is 10.75" wide and 4.2" deep, 12" tall. Good condition.
