Antique Solid Brass Lions Head Center Door Pull/Knob. This beauty is very detailed & heavy ~ quite stunning for the right door.
The pull measures 3" across & 3.5" deep. The escutcheon (back plate) is 2.75" wide. It also has the original iron bolt so it is ready to be installed.
While the pull is not marked, the bolt is. The iron bolt is marked "G K N" for Guest, Keen and Nettlefolds, a British nut & bolt manufacturer. Per Fastenerdata, In 1902 Guest & Keen acquired Nettlefolds, a wood screw manufacturing company and then became known as Guest, Keen & Nettlefolds. Though not conclusive evidence that this pull is a British antique, it is a compelling clue. Found at the estate sale of a designer and world traveler. less
