This is an antique display table. An English, walnut tilt-top hallway centre table, dating to the Georgian period and later, circa 1800.

Deep caramel hues beam beneath a quality, wax polish finish
Generous width to the top, decorated with a relief-carved scrolled border
Tilting top, released with a brass clasp and dressed with a protective cushion pad
Turned baluster column with twist finish to the bulb carving
Raised upon a broad trio of cabriole legs, terminating in slipper feet
