This sculpture is two pieces; the circular base with an extending rod and the dragonfly. The dragonfly perches on the base and gently rotates if touched.
Patinated metal base and body. I believe the wings are copper wire soldered with brass. The translucent wings are of unknown material. Not plastic or glass; perhaps some type of resin.
This is such a unique and lovely piece, we love things inspired by nature!
