Decorate an outside front door or a backyard with this cheerful pair of Shar-Peis. Crafted in southern France and carved of stone circa 1990, each dog is set on an integral flat base. Seated on their back legs, both dogs have a gentle expression further embellished with a collar around their neck. Both stone canines are in excellent condition and adorn a rich patinated antique weathered finish with evidence of outdoor use. They could be used on either side of a front entrance or in a garden. Each dog weighs 62 pounds.
The Shar Pei is a breed of dog known for its distinctive wrinkled skin and blue-black tongue. Originally bred in China for hunting and guarding, the Shar Pei has a history that dates back over 2,000 years. Due to their unique appearance and loyal nature, they have gained popularity as a family pet worldwide.
