This is a superb console table made in the late 1800s around 1880-90. The table is meant to be screwed and mounted onto a wall. The reason is because it takes up space and is more secure when heavy objects are placed on top. It can't tip over. The table is beautifully carved and gilded and features a fine slab of rouge marble on top. The table is in good condition and has normal signs of age and wear from age and use.
