These handmade chairs are crafted in Philadelphia in the 1770s and feature exquisite carvings and an oil-rubbed finish. The chairs come with cushions made of acrylic blend upholstery fabric that complements the oxblood color of the chair.
Typical Philadelphia Construction with the side seat rails through tenoned into the rear stiles.
Size: 37 1/2" tall, 22 1/2" wide, 17 1/2" deep, with a 17" seat height
Condition: original condition as found. One chair has old break out repairs to the crest rail and central splat. Various other minor repairs, and use and wear marks are consistent with age and use.
