Antique finely carved Beaux-Arts Italian marble mantel with deep relief and undercuts. Marble hearth and cast iron fireback. A very scarce opportunity to acquire a Beaux-Arts fireplace, especially in marble. Not many where ever made, especially one with this level of opulence. In excellent condition.
Provenance:From the residence of the famous architect Ernest Flagg (mostly known for many famous buildings in New York City such as The Singer building which at the time it was built, was the the tallest building in NYC., the Scribner's Book Store building and more).
Disassembled on two crates and easily shipped.
