This unmarked but very pretty piece caught my eye at an estate sale in Bristol, Virginia. The seller could tell me only that it was originally purchased in historic Williamsburg. Online research of this vintage item suggests it may be: 1) a bicentennial reproduction made by Blenko for their Williiamsburg Glass Americana collection; or 2) a handblown creation of Jamestown Glass. Both of these suggestions are based on the brilliance and clarity of its color and rough pontil mark on its bottom, along with the Williamsburg connection details. less
