The three-seat … more An excellent early 20th century Federal style settee lacquered black and painted with gilt borders and trims throughout. The three-seat back is detailed with gilt bars painted with vibrant florals sprays, flanking X-motif splats showcasing floral painted medallions at the cross-sections. The kidney-shaped seat is nicely caned and topped with a tie-on loose cushion with a pink, blue, and pink floral pattern. Raised on eight simply turned and tapered legs.
