Condition: Very good antique condition. One small crack on the base, and a few minor chips/dents. Slightly out of round. Some patina throughout, but could be polished to a high shine. - See photos.

Details: This is a rare solid brass Capstan candlestick/candle holder ca. 1500-1650. Wide circular base with a truncated cone axis, opening into a smooth plate that houses the candle holder. From the Renaissance period, this is a common shape for the time, with little to no ornamentation and only faint moldings.
