The unmistakable Louis XV styling is accentuated … more This is a superb, absolutely breathtaking dore' bronze mounted carrara marble top commode. The unmistakable Louis XV styling is accentuated with the best jewelry quality gold dore' ormolu mounts of sprays of flowers, wreath motifs, and incredible contrasting kingwood and walnut case that exists in absolute harmony with the fine carrara marble top. The case as is the rest of teh piece is in good antique condition with minor signs of age or wear and is rather pristine for over 120 plus years. The piece has all of the hallmarks of Francois Linke or Paul Sormani. It's truly one of the most beautiful commodes we have had in years. Dates to teh 1880-90s era and features beautiful hand-cut tight dove-tails. Dimensions: 33.5 inches high x 43.25 inches wide x 20 inches deep less
