Fabulous English Regency style drop-leaf desk from the early 20th century. The piece is beautifully constructed of mahogany with dovetail joints, and inlay trim details. It's a partner's style with two drawers on each side, all with locks and a functioning skeleton key. One of the locks does not lock. It has four brass lion paw feet with heavy brass casters. Finished on all sides so it could be used floating in a room or as a console table.
Fully open measurements are 67" wide x 27-1/2" deep x 26-1/4" high.
Leaves down measurements are 43" wide x 27-1/2" deep x 26-1/4" high.
Each leaf measures 12" wide x 27-1/2" deep.
Knee clearance is 21" high. less
