Vintage Plein Air Painting “Through the Trees” by Southern California native impressionist painter Michael Obermeyer, dating to 2006.
A gorgeous evocative California landscape of trees and rolling hills with a peek of a distant ocean. A featured painting from the 16th Annual 2009 Carmel Art Festival.
Shades of white, grey, brown, soft blues and greens, wrapped in a clean black frame.
Signed on bottom right, as well as on verso.
Many of Michael Obermeyer’s paintings reside in the Smithsonian Museum and the Pentagon.
