It appeared as the … more This is a French Art Deco antique fashion print that speaks to the GOLF sport enthusiast. It appeared as the leading illustration for an article on fashion designs for women who aspire to "dress for success". It came from a haute couture French magazine that dates to 1924. It is original to that date and NOT a recent reproduction print. It is in pristine condition with good color and clean edges. It is signed in lower right by the illustrator. The 3 fashionable women are seen on the golf greens dressed in the latest of the Art Deco styling. With a golf bag in tow, they are featured in mid-calf length styles with long waisted dress with fluid ease of movement. Note too, their long draped scarves and cloche hats. Sport related images are most difficult to find, thus making this image rare. 8.25 x 9.25 inches in size. Comes matted in a neutral tone 16 x 20 inch custom mat ready for a standard size frame.
