Curvaceous and clearly Italian made, here is a pair of Chapman Louis XV French European style bombe chests with three drawers and bun feet. The finish is a "just-right" combination of gold, silver, & taupe with very subtle undertones of red to add warmth and a bit of glamour to your space, all without appearing too over-the-top! Utterly chic!
They are ideal as large-scale nightstands, end-tables or flanking a central focal point such as a fireplace. They can be a neutral backdrop in any style decor: French, Italian, Transitional, or Hollywood Glamour -- so versatile!
The inner drawers are lined with a gargoyle repeat motif. Drawers are progressively larger from top to bottom. Bombe chests are beautiful yet functional work horses for holding all the things. If you have a place where you would like symmetry and artful, timeless storage, these are for you.
This pair is estate sourced, very good to excellent pre-loved condition! Any variation in color between the two is variation in lighting and photography. The finishes match each other within constraints of the manufacturer's finish. Colors are brighter in the outdoor photos intended to show fine detail. The color will read warmer and more subdued with interior warm lighting.
