There is amazing character and original patina on this piece! The legs have an incredible design style, and are quite sturdy! They have been reinforced for extra stability, please see photos of beneath to see how they are fastened; some signs of repair and reinforcement at wood brackets; the legs remain sturdy. Overall, this piece shows slight signs of wear consistent with age and use. There are a few minor wear marks and light scratches on the surface, as well as some marks on the diamond front doors. A few small veneer pulls at the base, along bottom edge at side and corner. No major chips or nicks, all imperfections are cosmetic. There are grooves (for sliding glass doors) present at the open cubby; glass not included and cubby space is used as an open display. There are four shelf holders available for eventual use if needed. Some wear and crackling at the finish on side and at top, also there is wear at the base level of interior cubby space from wear and use. See photos and close-ups for reference. All doors are touch-latch with original hardware. There is internal wire setup for illuminating the pull-down service surface. Small bulbs for this light not included. The original woven speaker coverings are left for true character design, giving this piece a truly vintage appeal; this piece is meant for storage only. There is cubby space on each side for extra storage. All of our pieces are used and/or vintage pieces that have wear consistent with age. What a conversation piece, and definitely one of our all-time favorites! Italian Mid-Century Modern Highboy Dry Bar or Sideboard. Faceted diamond-front doors, mirror and lucite-back serving surface with hinged service tray. Ample storage and display space for bottles, glassware and/or collectibles.
Exquisite leg design in Italian mid-century style with joined, tapered pencil legs at carved footings. All doors touch-latch to open. Each of these stylized pieces were custom designed with their own flare and features. This piece features three cubbies, one top service-cubby and an open display shelf. Please see all condition notes and close-ups for reference. Mix of solids and veneers, no makers mark found.
