These wooden crates crossed the Mediterranean a few decades ago! Fruit baskets, they must have been on market stalls in the 60s, offering mandarins and other foodstuffs from the sun! Today we imagine them as a box for comforters or toys, storage for magazines, or even a plant pot for a pretty palm tree! Some have kept their beautiful label indicating their origin as an invitation to travel!
The baskets are made of stapled strips of wood. They are light and in good condition, some have retained their label, indicating the container and origin. They will be perfect for storing light things.
