CLASSIC Art Deco Austin Productions Sculpture AP 3442 Titled "Etoile" - The Star" by Claude LeClerc dated 1986. Vintage Austin Prod Inc 1986 Sculpture Signed LeClerc. The bottom has cardboard Data information for the piece from Austin Production. This piece sounds and looks like metal when tapped, but is actually Terracotta, a type of earthenware which is a clay-based unglazed or glazed ceramic, where the fired body is porous. The sculpture is all flat black. This piece does have some weight to it, a little over 14 pounds.
RARE and NO LONGER IN PRODUCTION.
This masterpiece was created while the artist, Caude LeClerc was residing in Montreal in 1986.
