This Really is a Great Looking and Quite Unusual Authentic Antique Copper Tea Kettle. Circa Approx 1870s. It is Rendered in the Classic Shape & Style with the Unusual Added Feature of a Ring Finial - Lid Handle that is Designed to be Hung from the Added Hook Feature on the Handle. The Handle Risers - Brackets are Solid Cast Copper and The Round Top Handle is Hollow - Made Separately and Assembled. The Ring Design Finial is Also Solid Cast Copper. This is Very Good Quality - Well Made Piece. It is Completely and Substantially Hand Made out of Heavy Gauge Solid Copper Weighing Over 4 1/4 Pounds. The Bottom is Embossed with a Makers Mark that I was Able to Identify and Document as That of - William Soutter & Sons on New Market Street in Birmingham England. It is in Very Good Strong & Sound All Original Condition ( No Holes or Leaks ). It is Quite Tarnished - Needs a Good Cleaning & Polishing. Imperfection Noted - it has a Few Very Small Dents to the Upper Bout Top Perimeter Area - This Can Best be Seen in the Last 3 Photographs in my Listing.
