This simple, yet beautiful country pine cupboard features a primitive design of two solid doors on the bottom and two framed wavy glass doors on the top, which is set back allowing for a narrow counter area.
Beautiful American pine comprises this primitive Pennsylvania Dutch country cupboard/hutch. Rose head nails are found throughout its construction, illustrating the period from which it originated. The upper doors have wavy glass panes and a small iron closure with ornate detail. Each of the two fixed shelves have a small plate rail that allows for displaying of dish ware. The upper section is set back allowing for a counter space. The lower doors are panel doors. The left having a primitive hidden French-style latch. The right door having a more traditional exterior latch, used to keep both doors closed. As found with antique pine, this cupboard has a warm patinated finish and figured knots overall. This is a single piece cupboard.
This would be a perfect addition to a country kitchen or great room! It would mix beautifully with eclectic pieces and a vast color palette. less
