It once was used to display the daily special in my late grandfather's bakery and butcher shop in Cisco, Texas in the 1940's.

On receiving this as an heirloom, my mother refinished the wood and added solid wood turned legs making it a versatile piece for display and/or as a table. The case has glass on the top and on three sides, the other side is the hinged door. One of the original panes exist as it is wavy. The door opens and closes, and clasps easily shut, (no key included).

If you're looking for something unique piece for display for your retail space or to show of heirlooms, or storage space then make this a "keeper" in your home.
