- These tulip shaped glasses were designed for Fostoria in 1965 and introduced into their line of crystal in 1966 under … more These tulip shaped glasses were designed for Fostoria in 1965 and introduced into their line of crystal in 1966 under the pattern name "Remembrance". Apparently, the gold rim (real gold) made this line much too expensive for the bridal market of that time, and the pattern only lasted two years before being discontinued in 1968. The design is very simple and very elegant: a clear, tulip-shaped bowl with a gold rim. Few pieces remain in this vintage mid-century pattern. We found these two goblets at an estate sale in excellent condition. The appear never to have been used. We have discovered no chips, no nicks, no cracks, no hazing, nor any other signs of age or wear. They would be the perfect wedding or anniversary gift for your favorite couple who appreciate vintage and antique treasures. The glasses measure 8 inches tall. Prost! less
