Description: A beautiful work from Ranulph Bye, a well-known mid-century Bucks County impressionist whose work remains immensely popular today. Bye's work … more A beautiful work from Ranulph Bye, a well-known mid-century Bucks County impressionist whose work remains immensely popular today. Bye's work is included in collections at the Smithsonian and Temple University. Before his death in 2003, he also happened to live in Doylestown, where I reside now, so I often find that I feel a kinship with his work. This home is located in nearby Solebury Township near an area known as Ruckman's Corner.

The print is an offset lithograph by Arthur A. Kaplan Co., NYC. (Mark is visible under the mat.) The image is on a thick card stock. The mat has a very cool aged quality to it.
