- This is a c1900 French antique Art Nouveau botanical lithograph that came from an unbound album called Album de la … more This is a c1900 French antique Art Nouveau botanical lithograph that came from an unbound album called Album de la Decoration. The portfolio contained decorative designs for textiles, wall panels, leather goods, ceramics, etc. This panel showcases floral designs with Art Nouveau motifs for eglantines (Sweet Briar) and clementites (clematis) by Henry Lambert. Lambert works 'were used by designers, artists and engravers. His works were executed with botanic accuracy and beauty. Lambert also worked in the Sevres porcelain industry where his work on porcelain reflected his influence of flowering botanicals on ceramics. Today his work is auctioned at art galleries throughout the world. This lithograph is done in a soft palette of pinks, white, and green tones. There is a very beautiful quality to the work. This image is in clean, excellent condition. Measures 11 x 14.74 inches. less
