Inlaid with wood and colored stone and brass accents depicting grape clusters, a wine label, and aging barrels.

Couroc of Monterey, founded in 1948, produced a line of decorative items made of a proprietary phenolic resin material that resembled ebony wood and was water, burn, stain, and detergent resistant. Its unique designs often featured inlaid motifs made of natural materials such as shells, coins, and wood veneers. The company closed in 1996, yet its legacy continues still via its highly collectible, unique trays.
