A very handsome antique English leather storage ottoman, in an interesting buckskin color, with deeper brown accents and gilt tooling along the brass tacked edges. The interior has been upholstered more recently in an attractive green and tan damask. The piece rests on turned bun feet. Late 19th century. Has signs of age, but leather remains supple and in good vintage condition with superficial craquelure, marks and patina as seen in the detail photos.
