Description: An outstanding Victorian Knole sofa upholstered in blush pink upholstery. The sofa has a high back and two drop down … more An outstanding Victorian Knole sofa upholstered in blush pink upholstery. The sofa has a high back and two drop down arms with the original restored mechanisms with new hinges added to the base of either drop arm. The base is raised on four mahogany turned feet and complemented with two original silk tie backs and a pair of small cushions. The sofa has been fully restored, stripped back to the solid oak frame for upholstery with a new coil spring base, with hessian lining and calico coverings added before being finished in vintage pink upholstery. A truly outstanding piece of British history ready to serve for another one hundred and fifty years. English, circa 1870. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
