Vintage; French Lalique, Rene Lalique, Large Crystal Bowl Introduced in C.1929, & (20th.Century), is this "Nemours," pattern. This is an overall relief deign pattern of flowers domed to the exterior, while, convex to the interior, with the black dotted portions which are, hand-painted enamel dark cacao to charcoal black coloration, throughout the central section of each flower within the bowl. It takes on an Architectural dome-like gorgeous and beautiful, spatial quality much like vaulted domes in churchers, throughout Europe, and no doubt an influence or a nod toward's that. It is ALSO somewhat like Escher-like pictoral and prismatic detail, at least the feel and look, but encacsed within Crystal, such as Lalique pieces are known for their distinctive quality with elemental surprise elements, utilized with the technique and quality, within these crystal pieces, such as this 10" Diameter x 4"H., "Nemours" Bowl is Etch signed on the underside states, " Lalique France". This has "ONLY," been owned by one family, and the heirs, which and upon us acquiring this lovely bowl, was purchased in the 1950's. In very good condition. No Chips, Nor Flea Bites. From an Upstate, NY Estate.
In French Glass of the 20th. Century, Molded and relined, signed Lalique France.
This Model was produced between C.1940-1959. less
