While traveling throughout Florida for hurricane relief, working as a property adjuster, to help get insurance monies to victims of hurricane, I have been documenting damages to homes and landscape. I was inspired by the somber geometric beauty of architectural angles while photographing the water and wind damages from Hurricane Irma. Photos originating from themes of damage and renewal transform through digital painting into images alternating between happy and somber expressions. These radiant energies speak - sometimes expressing happiness, sometimes not, in this homage to the positivity of life within man-made and natural structures. Untitled 1-3844-10
