Offered is a hand woven Bolga Grass market basket with a leather wrap around the handle. Bolga baskets are handmade in farming villages in the Bolgatanga region of northern Ghana, and are perhaps the best known of all African baskets. They are woven from durable elephant grass, and can easily be reshaped to accommodate your needs. These can be used for shopping, for magazine or book display, for gardening, for fruits and vegetables in the kitchen, to hold towels in the bathroom, endless possibilities.
Measures 14" diameter, 15" tall
Care: If basket gets out of shape submerge in water and re-shape as needed. Trim off any stray grass with scissors.
