- Here is an amazing original, signed piece by Curtis Jere, 1987. The piece is part of the "Herons" series. It … more Here is an amazing original, signed piece by Curtis Jere, 1987. The piece is part of the "Herons" series. It feature two beautiful birds, with their wings outstretched. The body of birds is a silver hammered metal, while the wings are brass/plated brass. Unfortunately the previous owner kept the piece on their patio and the brass sections have notable patina and wear. The brass is more of a rust brown. The birds have inlayed stone eyes and tall legs that meet in a coppery, pond-like detail. The color of the leaves and bottom part are a patinated green. There is a hook in the back for hanging on a wall. Structurally this piece is excellent and it's highly collectable. Definitely worth loving its age as is, and/or restoring. less
