A very rare pair of exquisite antique Herend cachepot ENTIRELY hand painted with stunning images of fruits, vegetables, mushrooms and insects on basket weave textured porcelain, and having ruffled rims accented with high karat gold. These are Herend at its best, painted with meticulously detailed work - kind of pieces that are no longer made in modern times due to high cost and a diminishing number of skilled porcelain painters.
Marked with logo used from 1915 - 1930, with additional overglaze and underglaze serial numbers and faintly impressed "HEREND" mark. less
