Despite … more Wedgwood's Patrician pattern was in production for sixty years, from 1927 to 1986, and it remains a classic favorite. Despite being discontinued for close to four decades, brides are still choosing it for their gift registries. Patrician was produced of Wedgwood's finest bone china, in a mold which embossed flowers and scrolls along the edge. These blanks were usually left unadorned, but several sub patterns have transfer and painted designs and it was also available with a golden edge. Wedgwood bone china from this period tends to stain, if there are any glazing flaws, but this set of twelve large coffee cups and saucers is remarkably pristine, with virtually no signs of use.
