This is a very rare original poster produced in a small unnumbered edition on the occasion of the exhibition West Coast Duchamp held at the Shoshana Wayne Gallery in Los Angeles in 1991. The exhibition presented a recreation of Marcel Duchamp’s legendary first ever career retrospective organized by Walter Hopps at the Pasadena Museum of Art in 1963. The featured work is Julian Wasser's iconic photograph of Marcel Duchamp playing chess with a nude Eve Babitz in the gallery of the exhibition with his artwork, “The Bride Stripped Bare by Her Bachelors, Even” directly behind them.
