Originally bench made in England in the early 90's, by a company named Southampton. Southampton was a sister company to Southwood based in Hickory NC. but manufactured from the UK.
With its pointed arch-shaped back and openwork splats displaying Gothic tracery, this exquisite accent chair reflects the gothic taste which became fashionable in England in the middle of the 18th Century.
The shaped seat makes for an extremely comfortable chair enabling one to sit in for hours. less
