This painting has an Impressionistic style of a woman relaxing amongst lanterns and flowers. It must have been a hot, Paris evening since she is fanning herself with a decorated fan, quite common at the time. I love the table to the left where cold drinks were likely served. This painting is about enjoying time spent in the garden.
