A 1968 abstract oil on canvas painting titled, Interstate Fabrications, by Indiana artist Steve Redman (born 1944). The painting depicts a geometric projection of peach, blue and brown shapes that are grounded upon a brown, yellow, and blue border. The painting is signed “S. Redman 1968 “INTERSTATE FABRICATIONS” to the verso.
Born in Poseyville, Indiana, Steve Redman's artistic journey began with an unwavering certainty that can only be described as destiny. Redman attended the John Herron Art Institute for his BFA, Indiana University Bloomington for his MFA, and currently owns and operates his business, Redman Art Restoration. His work has been exhibited throughout the wider Indianapolis area, Chicago, New York, Provincetown, and more, receiving numerous accolades.
