There … Read more Vintage circa, 1970s, Mid-Century Modern, Charles Hollis Jones, tubular Lucite end/side table with polished nickel and combination chrome details. There is an upper level, as well as a lower level of glass. The tope is a beveled surround, while the lower is just esquire cut, with polished edges. Each level where the corners of each glass top rests, has bumper supports. This table may be used as a corner table, end or side table; within any office or den environment, That special reading area, lobby entry within a smaller office workplace, almost anywhere such interior spaces, which fashion an iconic added panache to an interior, beyond the high style of the Mid-century pieces which have been maintained, but Lucite pieces lend an airy unencumbered flow within a room, such is the bravado of any Lucite within any space's refine and define. There are foot protectors to each leg of lucite, we do not know if the previous owner had placed them there to protect the lucite, and this we say, "Bravo."

Top Beveled Glass Dimensions: 23.50"W x 23.50"D x 3/8" Thick.
Lower Open Shel Glass: 24" W x 21.75"D x .25"Thick. (the width and depth dimensions may be flip-flopped depending upon if one chose to change the direction of the table, front to side view, even though though frame is 23.50" Square, the lower configuration of the glass is based on the lower frame-work of the chrome.)

Glass clear bumpers also are inset to corners for the glass to rest and not chrome, ie. not to chip the glass. We didn't polish the chrome or clean it as per our usual mode, we were in hurry to photograph the item, so we apologies, if see any blemish or dirt, etc.. Glass is in excellent condition, as is the mainframe and lucite. See less
