Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown sapphire blue and gold flecks Italian art glass love birds figurine. Documented to designer Archimede Seguso. The two birds are attached to each other, entwined in a courtship dance. Nicely detailed, and profusely covered in gold leaf. Their heads look to have some opalescent glass in them as well. Would make a great display piece on any vanity, desk or curio cabinet. Use it as a paperweight, or display the sculpture it is on any surface. Mid-century era. Measures 4 1/2" long x 3" wide x 2 1/2" tall.
