Light and color reflect the inherent beauty, variety and excitement of all that surrounds us. In the natural realm, a sacred order comes surely into focus if one but sees, and innate energy yearns to be harnessed. Color, line, form and motion, then, should work in concert to properly structure a work of art. My great joy is being part of this creative process working towards a satisfying whole - and a painting is born. My work traces our family history throughout the United States including Shreveport, LA, Marthas Vineyard, MA and Lake Wales, FL

A native of Providence Rhode Island, the artist lives and works in Washington, D.C.
