A pair of unwired mid 20th century candle-holder sconces from France. These absolutely beautiful sconces look much older than they are, but are in wonderful condition - quite a balance! These metal sconces have a gold alloy leaf surface that has been hand applied - a rare and taxing skill. These stunning sconces would be a gorgeous touch in a dining room, or on either side of a doorway or fireplace.
