Painting was purchased from a home on the southern Maine coast. This scene could be from almost anywhere including Europe. I could not find any information on the artist. Painting is signed lower right corner on the front of the painting and again in pencil along the top rail of the stretcher. Overall dimensions including the barnboard style frame is, 27" by 31". The opening is 20" by 24". The actual painting is 19 1/2" by 23 1/4". Painting is in very good condition. less
