This is considered a foot stomp process on the porcelain, which gives it the rich Indigo and bone (not white) patina. This is a great decorative Ginger Jar and the color and design are incredible. It in a balaster shape with a heavy lid that comes topped with a large decorative foo dog. Additionally, it has some foo dog face handles around the top upper edge. This makes it possible to strong a tassel through to tie in the front. These would looks amazing with your other blue and white pottery / ceramics.
